YNNE rules

  1. No taking photos, videos, or other media without the consent of everyone in the picture.

  2. No posting images, videos, or other media of others without their consent.

  3. No sharing the names or other personal information (such as on social media) of event attendees and members without their consent.

  4. No touching without consent. This includes hugging, hand on the shoulder, handshakes, etc. If you open your arms for a hug, and they don't open their arms back, respect the fact that they don't want a hug.

  5. No unwanted advances. You are allowed to ask out and date other members, but remember that NO means NO. If you ask someone out, and they say no, move on.

  6. No sexual discussions while traveling to or at YNNE events (we don't like to regulate the speech of our members, but we feel this rule is important to make sure attendees feel safe).

  7. Sit on a towel when sitting on shared equipment (such as chairs).

  8. Respect and follow the rules of locations we visit while there.

  9. Members must be between the ages of 18 and 40.

  10. Those under 18 may attend events with explicit, written permission from their parents or guardian. Anyone under 18 without permission is not allowed to attend events. However, event planners of the YNNE have the right to refuse others, even with permission.

If you break any of these rules, YNNE leadership may remove you from the organization, and ban you from future events. This may seem strict, but we want to make sure all members feel welcome, comfortable, and safe.

These rules can be amended by a simple-majority vote of the Board of Governors.
